If you can retire abroad, you may be able to save money and afford luxuries that you couldn’t afford in the US. Belize is home to the largest expat community in the Carribean. Everyone speaks English there.
Boquete Panama boasts 2000 North American residents and the average temperature is 70 degrees year round. Living expenses in both countries can be as low as $700 or $800 per month. Many countries have tax breaks for US citizens who move there.
